This September SNY is going to air a special you won’t want to miss. The 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks will be observed by uniting both military members and civilians through physical activity and patriotism. The program, airing September 25,2016 at 9:00pm will feature highlights from the CMC Corporate Charity Event as well as clips from the CMC Ft. Hamilton Event.
The charity event is bound to be filled with passion and endurance from the participants. Active duty military personnel are going to be paired with civilians and take on the obstacle course together. They will show the strength of teamwork, communication, and commitment. The CMC Ft. Hamilton event will focus on some military members in addition to select athletes to be featured through the segment.
Civilian Military Combine is able to stand out apart from other obstacle course races with it’s unique set up. Participants initially participate in a workout that is intended to get people’s hearts racing and even the playing field among competitors. This workout is known at The PIT. Participants enter The PIT and then complete as many reps as possible of the given workouts during a set time frame. The goal is to give everything you can and leave it all on the mat. Break a sweat, push yourself, set a personal record, and make the most of each moment. Once you are done with the workout, it is time to head out to the five mile course packed with military-grade obstacles.
That is something the men and women of our military do every day. They give their all and then give a little bit more. They don’t quit. They do not back down from a challenge. They buckle down, focus, and push through to the finish line.
