1000 Strong Overcoming Obstacles 5K
The event is a community trail race held at Patriot Park in Victoria, Texas on April 18, 2026. The course runs on and off road and includes permanent obstacle structures, pop-up challenges, and mud pits. The obstacles are intended for use in health, well-being, and competition and are presented as a symbol of overcoming personal obstacles.

The event supports Restoration House Ministries. Net proceeds are used to assist young men and women dealing with trauma, abuse, and addictions and to support efforts to help people experiencing homelessness move toward restoration.
On site there are health and wellness vendors and food trucks. Early packet pick up is available the evening before at the Restoration House Ministries Gleanings Resale Shop. A T-shirt order deadline is listed as March 28.
Competition and awards are organized by age group. The first three finishers in adult (20 years and older) and youth (under 20 years) categories for the 5K and Obstacle 5K receive recognition at closing ceremonies. The Corporate Cup is awarded to the first team of five to complete the Obstacle 5K together. Participants may receive guidance about obstacles, use teammates to assist, or opt to skip an obstacle for a physical penalty; failure to complete an obstacle or its penalty can affect award eligibility.
