Event
The Amazing Race: Chamber Series is scheduled for March 28, 2026 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce is producing the inaugural event at 520 Barracuda Blvd. The course is a 5-mile team adventure that routes through the heart of New Smyrna Beach and includes more than 20 obstacles combining puzzles, problem-solving, and physical challenges.
Registration and rules
Teams consist of exactly two racers. Each participant must register individually. Registration is capped at 200 people. The posted registration fee is $150 per team ($75 per person). Registration includes an event shirt for each team member; available sizes are Small, Medium, Large, and XL, and shirts must be worn along the race route with the race bib attached underneath.
Minimum age to compete is 10 years. Teams that include racers aged 10–15 must also include at least one racer age 18 or older. Race bibs must remain clearly visible from start to finish. Participants should expect to get wet and must keep shoes on at all times. If a challenge feels unsafe or too heavy, volunteers can adjust it. Only registered racers are allowed on the course; spectators may use designated viewing areas or volunteer. Award categories include overall fastest team, fastest female team, fastest male team, fastest co-ed team, and best costume. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
