Event

The Angry Cow Trail Run #2 / Obstacle Race takes place on May 30, 2026, at Area 1, Rockford Lake, 29988 S 108 Road, Beatrice, NE 68310. Registration closes on May 15. Entry fee is $30; the fee includes shirts, awards, snacks, and drinks. Rucking is added this year; participants who plan to ruck must sign up online and check in 30 minutes before the regular check-in on race day. There will be a cutoff time for the longer distance.

Course and facilities

The course runs on trails around Rockford Lake, mostly on trails with a mix of trees and open pasture trails. During the event, participants will be directed to spots in the park for specific challenges similar to previous Pioneer events. Camping is available in RV and tent areas. The event is described as family friendly.
