Beyond Limits Adventure 5k & Fun Run : overview
The event takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Independence Landing, 3025 School House Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32311. It includes two events: a 5K adventure race with multiple on-course challenges and a shorter Fun Run/Walk/Roll around the Independence Landing complex. Independence Landing provides supportive housing and services for individuals with a range of abilities.

Race format and logistics
Participants complete no less than five unique challenges along the 5K course. Listed challenges include axe throwing with plastic axes, plank walk, army crawl, and a dizzy run around the bases, plus other coordination and dexterity tests. Entries may be individual or two-person teams. Separate awards are given by age group for teams and individuals. Finisher medals are presented to participants who complete all challenges. Costumes are encouraged. After-race refreshments will be provided at Independence Landing. Accessibility accommodations can be requested during registration.
Pricing details: early period (August 1 - October 11) and late period (October 12 - 25) differ for individual and team entries; the Fun Run/Walk/Roll fee is listed separately. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Independence Landing. Event parking is available at FSUS across the street; accessible parking is available at Independence Landing.
