Event overview
The Colorado Springs Spartan Trifecta Weekend takes place May 30-31, 2026 at Fort Carson Army Base, 2700 Wilderness Road, Gate 6, Fort Carson, CO. The course sits at the foot of the Rocky Mountains near Pikes Peak and is billed as a high-elevation course at about one mile above sea level. The weekend features multiple race formats and a festival area with music and beer gardens.
Participants earn event items based on distance: a Sprint finisher medal and tee, an Honor Series medal for any distance, and a Trifecta medal related to Sprint participation; completing the Super and Beast in the same year is required to earn the full Trifecta recognition.
Course and race details
Off-road terrain includes steep climbs, rugged trails, and a range of obstacles. Listed obstacles include the Atlas Carry, A-Frame Cargo, Barbed Wire Crawl, Fire Jump, Inverted Wall, Bucket Carry, Hercules Hoist, Multi-Rig, Rope Climb, Sandbag Carry, Slip Wall / Rolling Mud pits, Spear Throw, and various walls, plus additional location-specific challenges.
