Event Overview
The Daniel Barden Mudfest takes place in Deansboro, New York, on 6844 W. Hughes Road. This event honors the memory of Daniel Barden, a student lost during the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in 2012. The event reflects his appreciation for the outdoors, sports, and getting muddy. Course Information

The 8k course is designed to follow the initial path of the 5k course before breaking off toward steeper hills and additional obstacles. The 5k route is available in both a single timed heat for competitive participants and multiple un-timed heats for recreational participants.
