Event overview
The Dirty Dozen 5K and Fun Run Obstacle Mud Run is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Jerry Long Family YMCA in Clemmons, NC (1150 S Peace Haven Rd, 27012). This is the event's eighth annual running. The program includes individual and team options and features obstacle elements on the courses. Proceeds support YMCA health programs, including those for cancer survivors and people managing chronic diseases. New medals are planned for 2026.

- 5K (ages 7 and up)
- 1 Mile Fun Run (all ages)
Participants may enter individually or as part of a Team of Four. Registration opens on January 1, 2026.
Race logistics and services
Free childcare is available for YMCA of NWNC members and for non-member volunteers. For non-members, childcare is offered for children aged 3 months to 10 years at a fee of $10, with an additional $5 charged for late registrations. Parents and guardians must reserve childcare by 7:00pm on Friday, September 11, 2026. Non-member volunteers register in-house for a discounted childcare rate.
