Event Format
The Extreme Adventure Challenge is a team-based adventure event. Participants compete in either 2-person or 4-person teams. The course is approximately 10 km long and takes place on a 575-acre farm in Versailles, Kentucky.
Course and Challenges
The route features 18 distinct checkpoints. These challenges include activities such as mountain biking, ziplining, archery, and canoeing. Teams must strategize, deciding which member tackles each specific challenge. Awards are given in male, female, and mixed team divisions.
Participant Perks and Post-Event
All registered participants receive an event t-shirt, as well as hydration and nutrition during the event. After the challenge, there is a celebration with food trucks and music.
Organizer and Purpose
The event is a fundraiser for the Life Adventure Center. Registration fees fund scholarships and support the organization's mission to empower trauma-affected individuals through outdoor adventure programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
