Event Details
The Fort Gordon Marine Mud Challenge takes place at Fort Gordon, Georgia, at the intersection of 19th St & Barnes Ave. The event features a single 4-mile off-road course with more than 30 obstacles, a stream crossing, and hills. Participants should expect mud.
Participation Categories
There are competitive and non-competitive running events. The competitive category is intended for athletes who aim to run the full course and complete every obstacle. Registration is individual.
Participant Information
Participants must be at least 13 years old, though this requirement may be waived with parental approval. Electronic timing is used for all runners. Organizers recommend wearing old clothes and boots, and advise bringing a change of clothes as wash-down and changing facilities are available. The first 800 registrants receive an event shirt.
Logistics & Support
Parking near the start area is free. Gate 6 is the only gate available for visitors without a Department of Defense ID card; all non-DoD pass holders must pre-register for a visitor pass at least 24 hours in advance.
