Gladiator Assault Challenge
The Gladiator Assault Challenge is an obstacle course event held May 16–17, 2026 at Seven Oaks Recreation, 1086 222nd Drive, Boone, Iowa 50036. The event features multiple obstacle course formats and runs over two days at the same venue.
Courses include a series of natural and man-made obstacles that require running, climbing, jumping, crawling, balancing and mud sections. Named obstacles for the course have included Rope Climb, Monkey Mayhem, Tunnel Trouble, Combat Zone, Gladiator Charge, Vertigo, Wall of Shame, Wobbler, Walls, Monkey Cargo Box, Muddy Bunkers, Balance Beams, Cargo Climb, Snake Bite and Cage Animal.

Entry pricing for the May 2026 events is tiered by month: November–December $59, January $69, February $79, March $89, April $99, May $109. An additional fee applies for the Elite Heat and juniors in the Junior/Parent entry are priced at $35 while parents pay the current rate.
All participants receive a finisher t-shirt and Gladiator medal plus finish line fruit and drink. Top finishers in men’s and women’s divisions receive engraved Gladiator swords. The event is self timed and a clock is available at the finish line for time checks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
