Event Overview
The Holiday Valley Mudslide Obstacle Trail Run is the 14th edition of this mudrun event. It features a course with 15 obstacles. The organizers note there is no fire, barbed wire, or electric shocks on the course.
Course Details
The event offers three distances:
- Mudslide Long Course (6.0 miles)
- Mudslide Short Course (4.2 miles)
- Mudslide Kids Race
Both the long and short courses start at the top of Morning Star, accessible via the Yodeler lift. The route runs along a ridgeline to Spruce Lake and back around the mountain to Eagle, where the courses split. The short course heads downhill from there, while the long course includes additional uphill running.
All participants receive a finisher's medal, and the race is timed. Runners are advised that those registered for the long course who miss its start window must switch to the short course.
Participant Information
The long and short courses are open to participants aged 9 to 99. The kids race is for children aged 4 to 11. Children under 10 may run the short course if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
