Event overview
The INDURO Hybrid Race #6 takes place on March 1, 2026 at the Ball State Field Sports Building, 1700 West Neely Avenue, Muncie, IN 47303. It is the final event of a six-race winter series. Entry is open to participants aged 13 (by 12-31-26) and up. The event is USAT sanctioned, professionally chip timed with splits for all 17 segments, and offers race T-shirts, finisher medals, and overall awards by gender, distance, weight category, and age groups (under 40, 40-54, 55+).
Race format and options
- Short distance - 9 x 400 m runs plus 8 distance-based infield stations
- Long distance - 9 x 800 m runs plus 8 distance-based infield stations
The race alternates running laps with eight infield stations: sled push, sled pull, ski erg (1000 m), row erg (1000 m), round sandbag carry (200 m), sandbag lunges (100 m), burpee broad jumps (100 m), and farmers carry (200 m). Equipment noted includes Titan Pro sleds, GMWD Lava Ski Ergs, and Rogue Echo rowers.
Four weight levels are offered. Sled push weights range from 155 to 425 lbs; sled pull from 125 to 315 lbs; round sandbag from 50 to 150 lbs; sandbag lunge from 20 to 65 lbs; farmers carry from 20 to 70 lbs per hand. Participants may race individually or as two-person teams; teams run together and may split infield workload.
Logistics include on-site parking and indoor restrooms. Timing chips use neoprene ankle straps and all participants will be body marked on race day. Personal audio devices are not permitted during the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
