Event Overview
The Las Vegas Spartan Event Weekend features obstacle course races at Nevada State University in Henderson, Nevada. The venue is located about 15 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. The course includes technical trails and uphill sections.
Distances
The event weekend offers several race categories:
- Sprint: A 5 km course with 20 obstacles. It is scheduled for October 3 and 4.
- Super: A 10 km course with 25 obstacles. It is scheduled for October 3.
- Kids Race: A race for children covering 1–3 km with obstacles. It is scheduled for October 3 and 4.
- Hurricane Heat: Two endurance events, a 4-hour and a 12-hour version, both on October 3.
- Obstacle Workshop: An instructional session on October 2.
A spectator ticket is also available. Participants can form teams to secure a shared start time. The event website lists a service member discount for US military, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, and government employees.
