Austin - Muddy Dash
The event takes place on May 23, 2026 at Travis County Fair Grounds, 7311 Decker Ln., Austin, TX 78724. The course is described as a few miles with about a dozen obstacles called "Muddy Moments." Mud pits are reported to be no deeper than waist deep. The event is not focused on timing or competition, and costumes are allowed. A post-race festival area will include food vendors, music, sponsor booths, and some on-site competitions.
Registration, packet pick up and logistics
Two registration tiers are offered. Value registration includes a race bib and a finisher medal. VIP registration includes those items plus VIP check-in, an event T-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, socks, and a silicone wristband. Packet pick up is scheduled at the venue on May 22 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There is a bag check option at the event for a fee of $5. Venue parking may collect a cash-only charge of up to $20; some venues may accept card only. Participants are asked to check in 45 minutes before their scheduled wave. Teams can be created during registration so members are placed in the same wave; early waves are noted to fill quickly. Spectator admission is free. The event runs a Buy One & Give One program that donates a free registration per purchased registration to local community members in partnership with charities such as Save the Children, UNICEF USA, Feeding America, and Make-A-Wish.
