The Muddy Dash occurs at the Village Creek Motocross Park in Fort Worth, Texas. This recreational event focuses on a shared experience rather than professional competition or timed results. Participants navigate a course that spans several miles and features approximately 12 "Muddy Moments" or obstacles.
The course layout requires participants to run, walk, crawl, wade, slip, and slide through various sections. Mud pits are integrated throughout the route and are designed to be no deeper than waist height, ensuring that swimming is not required. Participants are welcome to wear costumes during the event.
Registrations are organized into waves. Participants can register individually or as part of a team. Team registration automatically assigns members to the same wave time. The event also operates a program where a registration is donated to local community organizations for every entry purchased.
