Richmond Muddy Dash : event details
The Richmond Muddy Dash takes place on July 25, 2026, at Virginia Motorsports Park, 8018 Boydton Plank Rd., North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. The course covers a few miles and includes about a dozen obstacle sections called "Muddy Moments." Participants will run, walk, crawl, wade, slip or slide through mud pits that are described as no deeper than waist-deep. The event is non-competitive and does not use timing. Costumes are allowed.
Logistics, services and what is included
Packet pick-up is scheduled at the venue on July 24 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; packets reserved for race day may incur a $5 fee per packet, paid in cash. Attendees are asked to check in 45 minutes before their assigned wave. Parking at the venue may include a cash-only charge of up to $20; some venues may accept card payments instead. A bag check is available at the event for $5.
Registration options include a Value package and a VIP package. The Value package includes a race bib and a finisher medal. The VIP package includes VIP check-in plus additional items such as an event t-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, socks and a silicone wristband. Spectator admission is free.
