Murder Creek Mud Run
Murder Creek Mud Run is a muddy obstacle race held in Brewton, Alabama on April 11, 2026. The main course covers more than three miles and uses the terrain of O’Bannon Park, E.O. Wilson Park and Jennings Park. The route includes mud and water sections, climbing over walls, and sliding features.
Distances:
- 3+ miles main obstacle course through three parks
- ~0.5 mile youth course
Heats are organized for Competitive male and female divisions, Open participants, and a Youth course. Competitive athletes must complete 100% of the obstacles to be eligible for podium placement. The Youth course is roughly half a mile: children aged 6–8 may run alone, ages 3–5 may run with an adult, and children aged 8–13 may race on the adult course only when accompanied by an adult and registered for the adult course. Participants aged 14 and older may race alone and compete.
Event amenities listed by the organizer include free parking, outdoor and indoor showers, and primitive camping at the venue. All finishers receive a finisher shirt, bib, swag bag and a medal.
