Event overview
OCR OVERLOAD - April takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Gainesville, FL at 3408 NW 166th Ave, 32609. The main obstacle course race is a 4.3 mile OCR with 23+ obstacles and a 140-foot finishers rig. The course includes mud holes, cow patties in the fields, light swamps, muddy streams, and rolling pine forests. Race-day facilities include a hose shower station, a food vendor offering BBQ, and beer and wine available for finishers age 21 and over. Parking is available for $10 cash only. An administrative, race and venue insurance fee of $9.56 applies.

Events on the day include:
- 4.3 mile OCR - 23+ obstacles and 140-foot finishers rig
- 5-mile trail run - mostly wooded with two water stops
- 50-yard timed Ninja run - top 10 advance to head-to-head finals; 100% completion for placements
- Volunteer Race - discounted $2 entry after volunteering; four-hour volunteer shifts
Elite athletes must achieve 100% obstacle completion to earn points for the Florida Championship Series in 2026; completion is tracked with wristbands. Rules for the low rigs state feet may not touch the ground. Open waves have no penalties for failed obstacles and do not require burpees or penalty laps. Elite podium payouts vary by field size: for 0-50 elites the prizes are $200, $150, $100; for 51-100 elites the prizes are $400, $200, $150.
