Event Details
The Spartan Race takes place at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona, on November 21 and 22, 2026. The venue is located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix.
Race Distances and Obstacles
Multiple race distances are available across the weekend, each with a set number of obstacles.
- Sprint (5K): 20 obstacles. Takes place on November 21 and 22.
- Super (10K): 25 obstacles. Takes place on November 22.
- Beast (21K): 30 obstacles. Takes place on November 21.
- Kids Race (1-3km): Takes place on November 21 and 22 and includes obstacles.
The Course
The course begins on the low-banked NASCAR track at Phoenix Raceway before transitioning to surrounding wildlife trails in the desert terrain.
Additional Information
Spectator tickets are available for November 21. A team registration option is offered. Discounts are available for US military, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, nurses, doctors, and government employees after verification.
