Rise of the Obstacles - Obstacle Wonderland

Rise of the Obstacles takes place May 30 to May 31, 2026 at Obstacle Wonderland, 314 New Unionville Road, Wallkill NY 12589. The event uses a permanent outdoor obstacle course and includes adult and kids heats across multiple formats.

Event distances and formats include:

Sprint heats are run head to head with fastest times advancing. The 5k endurance race is described as two laps of a newly designed course with obstacle changes each round and trail sections that require pacing and recovery. Kids races include a short competitive sprint and a non-competitive 1k course with age-appropriate obstacles and on-course support.

All sprint finishers receive a finisher medal and top three male and female sprint finishers receive podium awards. Endurance finishers receive a finisher medal after their second lap. The Teddy Bear Crawl partners with a charity that provides teddy bears to hospitalized children; donations of five dollars or more are associated with custom medals.
