Ruck for the Fallen 2026 : event overview
Ruck for the Fallen 2026 takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in New Gloucester, Maine at Pineland Farms (15 Farm View Dr, New Gloucester, ME 04260). The event is a 10k obstacle course where participants carry packs and ruck along the trails before undertaking "The Crucible," a sequence of more than 20 obstacles. Packs will be weighed prior to the start of the event. Verification of obstacle-course completion will be based on the honor system.
There are three event categories: an Adult category open to ages 18 and older, a Youth category open to ages 17 and younger, and a Team Ruck. Entry fees listed in the event information are $45 for Adult, $35 for Youth, and $45 for Team Ruck. Entry prices increase after December 30, 2025 at 11:59pm EST.
Awards and organizer
To be eligible for prizes, participants must ruck the entire 10k course with a pack (the obstacle course is an exception) and complete The Crucible in its entirety. Awards and recognitions include categories such as youngest and oldest participants, heaviest pack (youth and adult categories), heaviest average ruck team, Most Patriotic individual and team, Globetrotter Award, and 1st place and runner-up awards for youth, male, female, and teams.
