The San Diego Spartan Event Weekend takes place on April 18-19, 2026 at Pala Fox Raceway in Pala, California. The event features obstacle course races organized by Spartan with on-site bag check, parking, and processing. Ticket pricing listed for the event starts from $146.48 for the Sprint, $176.44 for the Super, and $28.84 for the Kids Race.

Course and obstacles
The course crosses rocky terrain, narrow trails, and the Fox Raceway motocross track and is described as flat and fast. The Sprint includes a mix of classic Spartan obstacles, such as the Atlas Carry (men 100 lb / 45 kg, women 75 lb / 35 kg), Sandbag Carry (men 60 lb / 27 kg, women 40 lb / 18 kg), Rope Climb (16 ft / 4.8 m), and Spear Throw (target at 25 ft / 7.6 m). Other obstacles listed include A-frame cargo, barbed wire crawl, bucket carry, Hercules hoist, multi-rig, inverted wall, slip wall, fire jump, and walls ranging from 4 to 8 feet. The event also notes that each location may include additional obstacles specific to the site.
Logistics and finishers
Course maps are subject to change depending on conditions. Finishers receive a Sprint finisher medal and a finisher tee; there is also a Trifecta medal available when a Sprint and Super or Beast are completed in the same year. The event includes festival entrance for finishers. A service member discount of up to 25% is available for eligible US military, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, and certain government employees via GOVX.
