About the race
San Diego Spartan Event Weekend unfolds at Pala Fox Raceway in Pala, California. The weekend offers three races: Sprint 5K with 20 obstacles, Super 10K with 25 obstacles, and a Kids Race 1–3 km. The course combines flat, fast sections with rocky terrain, narrow trails, and the Fox Raceway motocross track, framed by the sunny SoCal landscape.
Obstacles span classic Spartan challenges such as Atlas Carry, A-Frame Cargo, Barbed Wire Crawl, Fire Jump, Inverted Wall, Rope Climb, Multi-Rig, and Spear Throw, plus additional obstacles. The atmosphere is festival-like, with cheering crowds, music, and a post-race celebration; participants can expect a supportive, team-friendly vibe and on-site amenities.
