Event overview
The Seattle North Spartan weekend takes place May 2-3, 2026 at Meadow Wood Equestrian Center in Snohomish, Washington. The venue is a 900-acre former horse farm located between Snohomish and Monroe, near where three rivers meet. The event is an obstacle course race held on forest trails and narrow dirt paths beside the Snohomish River. Course maps are subject to change depending on conditions.
Distances and obstacles
- Sprint - 5 km, 20 obstacles
- Super - 10 km, 25 obstacles
- Kids Race - 1-3 km, obstacles
Obstacles listed for the course include Atlas Carry, A-frame cargo, barbed wire crawl, fire jump, inverted wall, bucket carry, Hercules hoist, multi-rig, rope climb, sandbag carry, slip wall, spear throw, and various walls. The event notes additional location-specific obstacles may be added.
Race features and logistics
Sprint finishers receive a finisher medal and a finisher tee. A Trifecta medal is awarded to participants who complete a Sprint and a Super or Beast in the same year. Team entries can secure the same start time for members and may receive pricing benefits. A service member discount of up to 25% is available for eligible U.S. military, law enforcement, fire, first responders, and certain government employees via verification.
