Terrain Race - Oklahoma City, OK
Terrain Race at Lost Lake Entertainment Complex in Oklahoma City is an obstacle-running event on August 8, 2026. The main course is based on a 5K structure, roughly three miles, and features mud, walls, ropes, monkey bars, and 15+ additional obstacles that use the venue's natural terrain. The event includes a festival area with music, food vendors, sponsor activations, and post-race activities.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the venue; packets left for race day may incur a $5 cash fee per packet. Race packets include a shirt, bib, and a finisher medal. There is a gear check available on event day for $5 and the venue may collect a cash-only parking charge of up to $20. The organizer notes a donation is made to a local charity after every event.
Two distance options are offered:
- 5K Race: about 3 miles with 15+ obstacles.
- Mini Monkey Run: half mile course for ages 2 to 10.
Age rules specify 14 or older to run the 5K alone; ages 7 to 13 may run the 5K with a parent or guardian. Wave starts are used to manage participants and early waves tend to fill first.
