The Jordan Education Foundation Challenge Obstacle Run
The Challenge Obstacle Run is an obstacle course event taking place in West Jordan. The course covers a distance of 2.5 miles and incorporates various physical elements designed for participant interaction. Participants navigate the route by climbing walls and hurdling barricades. The course also includes a 130-foot-long inflatable obstacle that stands 16 feet high and a hill designated for slip-sliding.
The event is organized as a fundraising drive by the Jordan Education Foundation. All proceeds generated from the event are directed toward classroom grants for local schools within the Jordan School District. In previous iterations, the foundation has raised approximately $400,000 to support educational initiatives through activities like this run.
In addition to the obstacle course, the event operates as a festival. It provides a means for the community to support local education through a physical activity format.
