Event Overview
The Tough Gator Mud Run takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The event offers two different race distances: a 5K and a 2K course.

The run features a mud and obstacle course set on over 200 acres of natural Florida landscape described as wilderness, forest, fields, and swamps. The 5K course includes 25 obstacles, while the 2K course features 17 obstacles.

- Adult/Teen 5K: A timed race for participants aged 13 and over.
- Family Fun 5K/2K: Options for adults and children aged 4-12, with the 5K featuring 25 obstacles and the 2K featuring 17 obstacles.
- Competitive 2K: A timed race exclusively for participants aged 10-13.
A finisher medal is awarded across all categories. Top finishers in the competitive categories receive awards.
