Zombie Mania takes place in Rexburg, Idaho on 2026-10-10. The event is held at 5th West 3rd North, Rexburg, ID 83440. The race is organized as a timed 5k loop and a separate costume run of 1 mile. The Zombie Mania run is held in multiple heats, and the costume run is offered in two age categories: 0-13 and 14+.
Course and format
The 5 km course is a flat loop that starts at Nature Park and goes through Eagle Park. Runners wear flags that represent their health. Volunteers dressed as zombies are positioned along the course and attempt to take those flags from runners. Some volunteers may emerge from vegetation along the route. The costume run follows the same route through Nature Park and Eagle Park for one mile but does not include volunteers acting as zombies.
