February 2026
Get muddy at the Mad Anthony Mud Run, a spirited 3 mile course through fields and trails with tunnels and a dozen plus obstacles. Finishers are rewarded with a lively afterparty featuring local craft brews, fire pits and a costume contest.
April 2026
Canceled: RISE Thermopylae near Raphine VA in the Allegheny Mountains was to be a rugged immersive endurance event with 6H, 12H and 24H tiers featuring backcountry loops, obstacles and ruck tasks. The April 18 2026 date is canceled.

Get muddy at the Richmond Muddy Dash on July 25 at Virginia Motorsports Park, an untimed few miles with a dozen Muddy Moments and waist deep pits. Costumes welcome, splash through obstacles and grab a finisher medal or upgrade to VIP for extra swag.
August 2026
Take on the Face the Forest 5K at Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest in Lynchburg VA on August 15, 2026. This muddy 3.1 mile obstacle course offers competitive and casual waves, and proceeds support Poplar Forest educational programs.
October 2026
Take on the Virginia Spartan Race in the Blue Ridge at Massanutten Resort on October 24 and 25, 2026. Choose Sprint, Super or Kids distances, tackle rocky trails and steep climbs, and celebrate your finish at an all season mountain resort.
