Event overview

Race format and participant information
The DEKA FIT format covers a total of 5 km made up of ten functional training zones. Each zone is preceded by a 500 m run segment. The event lists an average completion duration of 0 h 50 m 30 s for the standard DEKA FIT course. The ten zones start with more basic movements and progress so that zones 6 to 10 require full-body effort.
Multiple heat types are offered, ranging from an Age Group level up to an Elite level. Finishers receive a finisher tee, a finisher medal with lanyard, and a DEKA FIT Trifecta wedge when they also complete designated DEKA events in the same year. Results are tracked on DEKA leaderboards.
