Event overview
Muddy Dash in Salt Lake City is scheduled for July 11, 2026 at the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden, Utah. The course covers a few miles and features about a dozen obstacles described as "Muddy Moments" where participants will run, walk, crawl, wade, slip, or slide. Mud pits are reported to be no deeper than waist-deep. The event is non-competitive and does not use official timing. Costumes are allowed. A festival area at the venue will offer music, post-race activities, and occasional competitions.
Registration and logistics
Two registration options are listed. The Value registration includes a race bib, finisher medal, post-race party access, and access to the mud obstacles. The VIP registration includes those items plus VIP check-in, an event t-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, socks, and a silicone wristband. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the venue. There may be a cash-only parking charge collected by the venue of up to $20. A bag check service is available at the event for a fee paid on site. Waves are used to manage start groups, and teams can be created on the registration site to place members in the same wave. Spectator admission is free.
