OCR OVERLOAD - October is set for Saturday, October 4, 2025 in Gainesville, FL at 3408 NW 166th Ave, 32609. The event features an obstacle course race of 4.3 miles with more than 23 obstacles, including a finishers rig over 140 feet high. The course crosses fields, mud holes, light swamps, muddy streams and rolling pine forest. Parking at the venue is $10 cash only.

The event includes an Elite Division, multiple Open Division wave starts, a discounted second-lap benefit heat (60% of that heat's proceeds go to a beneficiary), and a volunteer race. Elite competitors must achieve 100% obstacle completion with a wristband to qualify for Florida Championship Series points in 2026. Elite prize structure varies by field size (examples: 1st place $200 to $400 depending on entrant numbers). Open waves have no penalties for failed obstacles; there are no burpees or penalty laps. Packet pickup provides a custom bib and an ankle timing strap that must be returned at the finish. Three water stations are placed on the OCR course at heavy-carry obstacles. Race swag, on-site food vendors, a finisher beer and wine for those 21+, and a water-hose shower station are available. Volunteer shifts are four-hour blocks; volunteers may race for $2 or direct a $40 donation to a group. Sponsorship packages are offered at multiple levels with booth, banner, and logo options.
