OCR OVERLOAD - October takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 3408 NW 166th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32609. The main obstacle course is listed as 4.3 miles with more than 23 obstacles and a finishers rig over 140 feet. The course crosses fields, light swamps, muddy streams and rolling pine forest, and the site description notes mud areas and some cow patties. Parking at the venue is listed as $10 cash.

Elite athletes must achieve 100% obstacle completion to be eligible for series points and wristbands are used to track completion; there are no penalties for failing an obstacle. Rules for low rigs state feet cannot touch the ground and trusses may be used during transitions. Elite prize levels are listed based on the number of elite entrants, with higher cash amounts if more athletes compete. Open waves have no penalty requirements and volunteers are present on course. The kids race includes two rigs, a low crawl, carries, a hoist, a 4-foot wall and a slip wall; adults may run or walk with children.
Course services include multiple water stations, three water stations at heavy carry obstacles, two water stops on the 5-mile trail, on-course hose showers, race shirts and medals at the finish, and on-site food and alcoholic beverages for those 21 and over. A discounted second-lap benefit heat will direct a percentage of its proceeds to an individual supported by the event. Volunteer positions and multiple sponsorship levels are listed.
