Event overview
The Temecula Spartan Event Weekend takes place on September 26-27, 2026 at Lake Elsinore Raceway in Lake Elsinore, CA. The event uses rugged trails and open terrain near Southern California’s largest natural freshwater lake. Organizers note warm temperatures, shifting terrain, and muddy sections on the course. Obstacles and course features
The event features many common Spartan obstacles and strengths tests. Described obstacles include Atlas Carry, A-Frame Cargo, Barbed Wire Crawl, Fire Jump, Inverted Wall, Bucket Carry, Hercules Hoist, Multi-Rig, Rope Climb, Sandbag Carry, Slip Wall with mud pits, Spear Throw, and various walls. Organizers state additional location-specific obstacles will be added.
Logistics and extras
Racing as a team is the only way to lock in the same start time for teammates and can provide pricing savings. A service member discount of up to 25% is available for eligible US military, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, medical professionals, and certain government employees through verification.
