Event Details

The Temecula Spartan Event Weekend takes place in September at Lake Elsinore Raceway in Lake Elsinore, California.

Race Distances

The weekend features multiple race distances:

  • Sprint: A 5K (3.1-mile) race with approximately 20 obstacles, held on September 27.
  • Super: A 10K (6.2-mile) race with approximately 25 obstacles, held on September 26.
  • Kids Race: A race for children covering distances between 1 km and 3 km, with obstacles. It is held on September 26-27.
  • Hurricane Heat 12HR: A 12-hour event held on September 26.
  • Hurricane Heat 4HR: A 4-hour event held on September 26.

A spectator ticket is also available.

Course Information

The course is set on rugged trails and open terrain around Southern California's largest natural freshwater lake. The event is known for its mud and obstacles. Participants can expect warm temperatures and shifting terrain. Team registrations are available, offering the same start time for group members and potential savings.
